Registration SCAT has a yearly registration fee. Currently it is $150 for returning swimmers, due in July, and $250 for new swimmers due at the time of registration. This includes USA Swimming registration fee for ALL swimmers & the $100 per family fundraising for NEW swimmers. For new swimmers, this is due upon registration. For currently registered swimmers, it is due in July of each year. SUMMER START: Swimmers beginning in the summer months will not be asked to pay registration for SCAT again for the upcoming fall season.

Swim Fees Monthly swim fees are due by the 5th of each month. Posted fees include a $10 discount. Fees received after the 5th are $10 more per swimmer. SCAT swim fees are paid on a ten months basis from August to May of each calendar year. Swimmers beginning payment in August will pay through May & have the summer months of June & July free for either SCAT or Pirates. Swimmers beginning after August, will be required to pay a full ten months before having any free months. If swimmers begins in December or later, they are obligated through August if continuing on the team. PRORATING OF FEES: SCAT will prorate fees for swimmers beginning after the 15th of a month. Those swimmers will pay one half of that month's fees, however, they will be required to fulfill the full ten months for "free" swims. FAMILY DISCOUNTS: Second & third swimmers in a family receive discounts on their monthly fees. FULL PAYMENT REDUCED FEES: Families may pay for the entire season at a 5% discount (% is approximate depending on groups). 

Fundraising This is a yearly per family charge of $100. The fundraising obligation may be offset through participation in our scrip program. An explanation of our scrip program is provided to new families & detailed on our scrip link. DUE DATE: September 5 for returning swimmers and upon registration for new swimmers. PRORATING: Families who begin after January are obligated to $75 & families who start in May or later have a $50 obligation.  WITHDRAWAL: Families withdrawing from SCAT owe the full balance. ALL OUTSTANDING BALANCES ARE DUE BEFORE A SWIMMER MAY RETURN TO THE TEAM.

Volunteer Fee This is a yearly per family charge of $150. The volunteer fee applies to our THREE Invitational Meets ($50/MEET) and is billed during the month of the meet. For 2007-08, this will be in November, February & June. Families who contribute the required number of hours (or sessions) at each meet will have the full fee removed.  WITHDRAWALS: Families withdrawing from SCAT owe the full balance regardless of date of withdrawal.  ALL OUTSTANDING BALANCES ARE DUE BEFORE A SWIMMER MAY RETURN TO THE TEAM.

Withdrawal Swimmers withdrawing from the team are obligated to all amounts owed, including any remaining balances on Fundraising & Volunteer Fees.  There is a 30 day notice required for withdrawal (other than approved medical). To withdraw from SCAT, a sign withdrawal form should be provided 30 DAYS prior to last day of practice. This does not apply to swimmers who participate in Pirates during the summer months. Swimmers withdrawing from SCAT will have to pay a nominal re-registration fee to return to the team, if returning during the same swim season. LEAVE OF ABSENCE: A swimmer may elect to take a leave of absence from the team. The same withdrawal form is used for this, simply mark the appropriate area. Swimmers taking a leave of absence are not required to pay a registration fee to return to the team. It is the parents obligation to notify Ginger Roddenbery (not the child's coach) prior to the swimmer leaving.

Escrow SCAT has a meet escrow account for each swimmer. The initial balance of $50/swimmer will be due PRIOR to the first meet entered - usually in September. Once the balance reaches $20 or below, another $30 will be due to keep the account active and swimmers entered in meets. Swimmers with escrow below $10 will not be entered into meets. WITHDRAWALS: Swimmers who withdraw will receive their escrow amount once all SCAT fees are paid, including fundraising and volunteer fees.
